Rib Mountain Inn & Townhouses

We were on our way to Door County and didn't want to drive the whole way especially with it being late. We booked this place the day of. It didn't show up on our first search but it did on our second search. I'm glad it did. It's off the beaten path and not a chain. It only has maybe 17 or 18 rooms. Our room was a double queen. It was very nice. Wood flooring, the bathroom was amazing. Our view was woods. The little deck would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy cup of coffee on. It was very quiet. The breakfast was nice and the general manager was a sweetheart. We talked briefly and she told me they'd match any online price and to book with them directly. I never thought about that. If we ever get back to that area we'll stay there again. Great place and reasonably priced.

This place is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and the service is beyond compare. I loved the wood fire place in our room, and enjoying coffee and Belgium waffles on the balcony . The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. The large outdoor hot tub was really nice. All the extra little touches make this a truly special place. Barb is so wonderful and helpful. I am already planning when I can return. Do yourself a favor and book a getaway here!!

Very romantic place — clean, cozy, and welcoming. The outside area is nicely secluded, making it perfect for picnics. The hotel manager, Barbara, is exceptionally friendly and professional, ready to answer questions and assist. Breakfast is tasty, and the location is convenient. Altogether, it’s everything you need when traveling far from home.

We had a fantastic off-season stay here while we explored Wausau. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Very friendly staff! Beautiful location. Breakfast was the standard waffle maker with several flavors of syrup, which was really nice. There were other toastable options and breakfast sandwiches. Coffe was good, and they have a flavored coffee machine in service. The lobby was very nice with a fireplace and ambient music, which invites guests to play provided board games or read books they have for borrowing. We didn't try the sauna or hot tub.

We stayed here on our way to Mackinac Island and it was so much better than expected. Upon arrival it did smell old and dated in the entry way - it could use updating no doubt but what we liked was this great room with a full kitchen, wood burning fireplace, nice bathroom, couch, sliding door to a balcony and dining table all in one large room for $150 night. It was actually very cozy. There's a 16 person hot tub which was great. The place is surrounded by large forest-like trees so it felt very secluded. They serve a complimentary breakfast with that price too. It'd be a great place for a girls getaway weekend, a couples romantic get away, or if you're passing thru as a family. I would recommend this place.

Wish I would have looked at the reviews before trying to find something - they would have told me what I lucked into. This place is amazing - great hot tub and sauna, great lobby, real wood fireplaces with a few logs and firestarters provided. Everything has a "we just updated this" feel to it, and the little touches really stand out. Oh yeah - it's walking distance from Granite Peak. Total win.

Can't rave enough about this place. Ultra convenient location as it is quick walk away from Granite Peak ski hill. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable setting. The lobby/breakfast area is top notch. The breakfast is an improved Continental type. With bagels and the like as well as a waffle maker. Yogurt and juice is available as well. They also offer an excellent sauna and a large outdoor hot tub. The room was superb. The bed was comfortable. Lots of channels available on the TV. Check in and out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great weekend couples getaway. Location was quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious with a fireplace and kitchen. Building could use a slight bit of updating, but that didn't affect my experience. Staff was very sweet and we definitely will return for another weekend in the summer.
